One sock knitted and one to go! I have had great fun knitting socks recently. I found this amazing pattern for knitting socks from the toe up and it works really well! The instructions (in the link below) are really clear and they are a lot easier to knit then top down patterns, and there is no kitchener stitch needed to complete the socks.

I would love to know how you get on if you give the pattern a try.

  1. Hi Lesley, I'm afraid I can't knit! Followed you here from my blog - how do I follow you? I see you are in Bristol, I'm in Keynsham! Di x

  2. Hi Di,
I am very new to all this and am only just trying to set it all up! I worked out how to follow you by adding your url link that you sent me via email this morning, to the "follow" button on the dashboard. My url is http://quiltingdemon.blogspot.com I live in Frenchay so not that far away!

  3. Lesley, that all sounds very complicated to me - I see a button on a page which says 'follow me' so I click that and that's it!! I have never had an email about anything so you must have a different set up - if you're on Blogger there is an option to add gadgets and when you click that a 'Followers' option comes up I think and then it is on your page for anyone who drops in! It's all very complicated this blog and forum stuff not to mention Facebook!! I forget where I listed stuff half the time! Love your items by the way, Di x By the way, do you have an Facebook fan page as I'll sign on, if not it is dead easy to do, even I did it without help so it must be :-)

  4. PS Ignore all of what I said - you now have a Followers button so I'll sign on, if yoy list it on the forum you'll get more followers too! Di x (now I need a drink!)
